Woodpecker Coloring Pages

What do you have in mind when you hear about woodpecker? It is so sure that you will directly remember about a cartoon character named Woody Woodpecker. Well, he is not the one that I want to share in these woodpecker coloring pages. This time I want to introduce the real woodpecker instead of the funny cartoon character.

You may already know that woodpecker is bird that has a very special and unique habit. The habit that is meant here is making a hole by pecking in a certain type of tree. It is known that actually each species of woodpecker has its own preference related to the type of tree that it pecks.

The hole created by this bird itself is something that is used by this bird to breed and roost. In all over the world, it seems that there are for about 200 different species of woodpecker found.

Each of these species has different physical features. Some of them are also known to have different habits too that sometimes depends on the type of habitat that they live in.

For Woody, you might get curious about what type of woodpecker he actually is. The answer of such curiosity is something that is quite debatable actually.

Some say that Woody is an acorn woodpecker. But, if we look closer to him, it seems that he looks more like pileated woodpecker instead of acorn. It can be seen from the more pointed red crest on its head that simply looks like the one owned by the cartoon character.

Bugs Bunny Coloring Pages

Bugs Bunny is a really well-known character that made his first appearance in the year of 1940 in The Wild Hare. After that, he was known as one of the main stars in Looney Tunes and the Merrie Melodies until now. His physical appearance is something that is so easy to recognize. He is a gray rabbit that looks like wearing a pair of white gloves on his hands.

As a cartoon character, Bugs is a smart and rather tricky one. He is often placed in one scene with a hunter that always try to catch him but it seems that he always fail because Bugs tend to use a lot of various tricks in order to get away from the hunter.

This concept is something that is already shown in his first debut in The Wild Hare back then in 1940.

Take a look at some Bugs Bunny coloring that I've made. They're very cute and funny looking bunny. One thing that everyone should know about him is that his appearance that I show to you in the coloring pages is in fact his latest appearance.

The fact is that Bugs already undergone a kind of evolution from time to time until now he looks like these. The very first design of him, if seen from side view rather looks like a rat with long ears and you may not recognize that it is him. Even so, Bugs Bunny is still a cute and funny looking hare that we all love.

Care Bear Coloring Pages

These Care Bear coloring pages do reminds me of the cute horses in My Little Pony. It is not that the bears look like ponies. It is more about how colorful they are and also about the fact that they have some kind of symbols just like the cutie mark for ponies. These are what make them so cute. For you to know, the symbols are also known as their tummy symbols because of their placement.

The history of Care Bear is in fact something that I found to be so interesting. Even if at this point of time people, especially kids, know the bears from movies or TV series, at first the bears were actually designed for something else.

They were made for the first time by American Greetings as parts of their products that is greeting cards back then in the year of 1981.

As time goes by, these bears become more and more popular that they started to be in other than just greeting cards until now.

At the very first, there were only 10 different bear characters available and all of them seem to represent the most common greetings often used in daily life.

More and more new characters are always added from that time on, until now there are more than 50 different bear characters available. Well, it seems that those who are fans of these bears do have a very lot option of bears to be chosen as the most favorite ones.
